Supporting people over 50
and their friends and families in Miles Platting and
In 2018 we ran the Tales of Miles Platting project, a successful, social programme bringing people together to creatively celebrate the past, present and future of our neighbourhood.
Since we formed in 2016, we have funded 13 small projects focusing on tackling social isolation in our area.
Empowering people to connect and create projects with a strong sense of pride in our area
When we first became MPAFN Board, we were funded for a particular area; Miles Platting, plus some of Collyhurst and Ancoats. Our first projects took place here. Miles Platting remains the centre of our area, but we are keen to meet and work with people living in all our surrounding neighbourhoods.
